Welcome to StrongRoots, a parenting guidance platform operated by Innovate Change Leap ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website and services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

2. Eligibility

To use StrongRoots, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be responsible for the care of at least one child
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Reside in a jurisdiction where our services are legally available

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Description of Service

StrongRoots provides a 12-month structured parenting guidance program designed to help families address behavioral challenges, rebuild safety, establish boundaries, and strengthen family relationships.

3.1 Service Includes:

• Monthly curriculum modules with weekly lessons
• Practical scripts and micro-habits
• Self-check questions and progress tracking
• Crisis support resources
• Community features (comments and questions)

4. Account Registration and Security

4.1 Account Creation

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information as needed
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized account access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

4.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion.

5. Subscription and Payment Terms

5.1 Subscription Plans

StrongRoots operates on a subscription model. Current pricing:

• Monthly Plan: R50 per month, billed monthly
• Annual Plan: R540 per year (10% discount), billed annually

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through PayFast. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to your chosen plan.

5.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will not receive a refund for partial subscription periods.

5.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle.

5.5 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to process it again. Continued payment failures may result in suspension or cancellation of your subscription.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

6.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

6.2 Refund Policy

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied within the first 7 days of your initial subscription, contact us for a full refund.

After the 7-day period, subscriptions are non-refundable. You will retain access until the end of your paid period.

6.3 Account Deletion

If you delete your account, your subscription will be canceled, and you will not receive a refund for any remaining subscription period.

7. User Conduct and Responsibilities

7.1 Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
• Post offensive, abusive, or harmful content
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise the Platform
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce Platform content without permission
• Use automated systems (bots) to access the Platform

7.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for any content you post, including comments and responses. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise inappropriate.

7.3 Safety Reminder

If you or your child are in immediate physical danger, call emergency services immediately (10111 in South Africa). Do not rely on the Platform for emergency situations.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

8.1 Platform Content

All content on the Platform, including curriculum materials, scripts, lessons, videos, graphics, and software, is owned by or licensed to Innovate Change Leap and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 Limited License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial use. You may NOT:

• Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display Platform content
• Create derivative works or adaptations
• Sell, license, or commercialize any Platform content
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices

8.3 User Content License

By posting content on the Platform (comments, questions, etc.), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 No Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.2 No Professional Relationship

Use of the Platform does not create a therapist-client, doctor-patient, attorney-client, or any other professional relationship. Our content is educational and informational only.

9.3 Results Disclaimer

We do not guarantee specific results from using our program. Every family situation is unique, and outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control.

9.4 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INNOVATE CHANGE LEAP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Innovate Change Leap, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your content or conduct on the Platform

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting updated Terms on the Platform
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending an email notification (for significant changes)

Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to conflict of law principles.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts of South Africa, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Innovate Change Leap regarding the Platform and supersede all prior agreements.
